About Me
A nurse, wellness consultant and a good listener.
I grew up on a farm in Little River, Banks Peninsula. My parents were sheep farming there and my father was an expert in sheep breeding and showed sheep at A&P Shows for over 50 years. My mother apart from helping on the farm and raising their family particularly loved gardening throughout her life. I was the youngest of three girls We had lots of fun helping on the farm and playing sport together as we were growing up.
My husband and I of 28 years have a blended family of five adult children. It was very busy times during the earlier years. The children are adults now and all doing well living in different parts of the world.
I really enjoyed helping people and nursing was something I wanted to do as a child. I have been a Registered Nurse for about forty years in both hospital and community settings and more recently as a District Nurse.
As a Nurse I have found that active prevention is the best long-term approach. Our lifestyle choices especially in diet, supplements (where necessary), exercise and spiritual wellbeing are all things we can control. As touch can be very therapeutic, I also started looking at different treatments that might be of benefit to clients and would combine well with the facial treatments that I do. I trained in Indian Head Massage which is a wonderful way to destress, relax and promote wellbeing.
I look forward to supporting you to live and look the best that you can.
